​​​​​​​Admission Process for Programme at IIM Rohtak: Everything You Need to Know for Batch 2025-30 

Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Rohtak 

IIM Rohtak, established in 2009 under the Ministry of HRD, Government of India, is an institute of national importance as per the IIM Act 2017. Located within the NCR, just 90 minutes from Delhi International Airport, its 200-acre campus is a hub for academic excellence.

Eligibility Criteria 

   To apply, candidates must meet the following conditions: 

For General, EWS, and NC-OBC Categories: 

• Minimum 60% in Class X and XII.
• Maximum age of 20 years as of June 30, 2025.

For SC, ST, and DAP Categories: 

• Minimum 55% in Class X and XII.
• Maximum age of 20 years as of June 30, 2025.

Note: Candidates completing Class XII by June 2025 can apply provisionally. 

Key Dates to Remember 

Total Number ​​​of seats 

Total no. of seats for IPM Batch VI (Session 2024-29) will be 165 (including 10% of the total seats will be offered to EWS (Economically Weaker Section) candidates). The offer of admission to the candidate will be made strictly based on merit/rank list and availability of seats in each category (Gen, SC, ST, NC-OBC, EWS & DAP) as per reservation rules of Govt. of India. 

Admission Process & Exam Pattern 

If you're aspiring to join the prestigious Programme at IIM Rohtak, here's a detailed breakdown of the admission process for Batch 2025-30 (Batch V). This six-stage process ensures that meritorious candidates secure a seat in this elite program. 

Stage I: Online Registration 

Candidates need to register for the Programme via the IIM Rohtak official website (iimrohtak.ac.in). During this stage, candidates choose their entrance examination: 

• IPM Aptitude Test (IPM AT) 2025

The non-refundable registration fee is ₹4,937. 

Stage II: Entrance Examination 

        IPM Aptitude Test (IPM AT 2025) 

• Scheduled for May 05, 2025 (Tentative), this test evaluates proficiency in:
• Quantitative Ability
• Logical Reasoning
• Verbal Ability

   Marking Scheme

• 4 marks for each correct answer.
• 1 mark deducted for each wrong answer.

Stage III: Shortlisting & Personal Interview (PI) 

Shortlisted candidates are invited for a Personal Interview (PI) based on their entrance exam scores. During the PI, candidates are assessed on: 

• Academic performance
• General awareness
• Communication skills

The interviews will tentatively take place in June 2025. 

Stage IV: Final Selection List 

The final merit list is generated based on a composite score derived from the following components: 

• Entrance Exam Score (IPMAT): 55%
• Personal Interview: 15%
• Academic Records (Class X): 10%
• Academic Records (Class XII): 20%

Selected candidates will receive admission offers by July 2025, strictly based on merit and seat availability under various categories. 

Stage V: Provisional Admission 

Candidates accepting the offer must: 

• Pay an Offer Acceptance Amount (OAA) of ₹1,00,000, adjustable against the first-year fee.
• Submit required documents and the first installment of the program fee within stipulated timelines.

Stage VI: Joining the Programme 

Final selected candidates must report to the IIM Rohtak campus for registration and document verification in August 2025. Hostel accommodation will be provided on a shared basis, with ground-floor rooms prioritized for DAP category candidates. 

 IIM Rohtak Final Placements 2023-24:  

IIM Rohtak continues to uphold its legacy of outstanding placements, achieving a 100% placement record for the 13th batch of its flagship PGP program. With a batch size of 321 students, the institute successfully concluded placements with over 70 new recruiters, setting new benchmarks in the industry.
